Bury Corporation Bus 188 Restoration Appeal
Help us save the 188!
Bury Bus Corporation Bus 188 was one of the four Half-Cab Buses acquired by Bury Corporation Transport in 1967 to run the route from Bury to Bolton. The bus was eventually withdrawn from service in 1980 and purchased by a private owner for use on a fruit farm in Dundee. Happily the vehicle was purchased by a local bus enthusiast who donated it to the Bury Transport Museum in 2009.
188 is now undergoing an extensive restoration programme, and we need your help to get the bus operational and repainted in its original green and cream livery.
