    It’s the 110th Birthday of our resident Traction Engine “Pearl” as well as the return to steam of “Doris” following a 10 year overhaul. To celebrate this momentous occasion the Bury Transport Museum is hosting a fantastic Traction Engine exhibition!
    Engines will be on display in Bury Transport Museum yard from 10am – 4pm

     

    • Marshall 7Nhp 3 Speed Single Cylinder Traction Engine “Pearl” No. 46276 of 1906 (in steam)
    • Marshall Britannia 6Nhp Single Cylinder Portable Engine “Conchita” No. 43090 of 1905 (in steam)
    • Marshall 10Nhp Single Cylinder Portable Engine “Doris” No. 71396 of 1919 (in steam)
    • Marshall 12 Nhp “S” Type Duplex Cylinder Portable Engine “Juan Thoo” No. 84922 of 1929 (un-restored) on display for the last time before restoration begins
    • Marshall Model “M” Tractor No. 1449 of 1945
