Head to the fascinating Bury Transport Museum and browse for collectables at this special indoor fair, who knows what treasures you might find?

What’s included?

The museum plays host to a number of stalls offering the best in local transport memorabilia, collectables and souvenirs. Combine your shopping trip with a journey by steam train for the full experience!

Several vintage buses will also be on display outside the museum as part of a celebration of 60 years of bus operators serving Bury, from the Municipal Company to GM Buses. A free vintage bus service will also be running between Heywood and the Bury Transport Museum.

Museum entry is FREE however we do kindly ask that visitors give a small voluntary donation if they are able. This helps us to continue to support and develop our celebration of Lancastrian heritage. If you wish to travel on the train, standard fares apply.

Freedom of the line tickets are our best value tickets and include unlimited travel all day.
