Yo-ho-ho and a shovel of coal!

Sign up with a crew of the East Lancashire Railway’s most wanted Buccaneers on a high seas search for buried gold. You will earn your sea-legs as you learn the basics of map reading, singing sea shanties and of course the best way to buckle your swash. Can you beat your piratical rivals to the treasure?

This interactive adventure will see you and your family join colourful characters on a steam train ride, during which you will take part in a host of entertaining activities to complete the story.

What’s Included

  • One return trip from Bury to Rawtenstall on the world’s first Pirate Steam Train
  • An approximately two-hour Pirate experience with the silliest sea dogs in Lancashire
  • Pirate themed activities
  • Plenty of photo opportunities

Food and drink will be available to purchase from our café on Platform 3/4 at Bury Bolton Street Station and from our on-train buffet.
