If you love the idea of raiding tombs and discovering secrets from the distant past then this is definitely the adventure for you. Take a steam powered trip into the past to roam with the ancient Romans, gad about with some Greek Gods and explore the pyramids with the Egyptians. You can become a part of history!

This interactive adventure will see you and your family join colourful characters on a steam train ride, during which you will take part in a host of entertaining activities to complete the story.

What’s Included

  • One return trip from Bury to Rawtenstall on a steam powered time machine
  • An approximately two-hour ancient adventure with a host of fun historical figures
  • Ancient themed activities
  • Plenty of photo opportunities

Food and drink will be available to purchase from our café on Platform 3/4 at Bury Bolton Street Station and from our on-train buffet.
