Reopening Rawtenstall

We’re getting back on track

This May Bank Holiday is a special one for the East Lancashire Railway. Not only will we re-open our lines to passengers for the first time after the third national lockdown, we are also celebrating an auspicious date. 2021 marks the thirty-year anniversary of the re-opening of Rawtenstall Station on 27 April 1991!

Come along and join the festivities as we run regular steam and diesel services throughout the weekend.
