The Trackside

A Journey of Real Ales and Lancashire Fayre

How often can you enjoy a pint of ale (or real cider) whilst real steam trains go by? The Trackside, the railway’s own real ale pub, lets you do just that!

Situated on Platform 2 and set against the unique backdrop of Bury Bolton Street Station, The Trackside is a genuine free house offering a selection of up to ten real ales. several of which are dedicated to locally brewed beers. Find out more about the breweries we support.

The Trackside has been listed in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide for a number of years now ad offers a tempting range of continental beers, real ciders and perries, as well as an impressive selection of malt whiskeys.

Food

We serve a selection of traditional Lancashire food, from home-made pies and black pudding to seasonal dishes, and source our ingredients from local suppliers wherever possible.

Our kids menu offers a great lunch option during your family day out at the railway.

Real ale and real music! Drop into The Trackside to enjoy some rustic folk sounds from our resident band O’Really’s from Ringley! No pre-booking required but space is limited.
