Your venue for a spectacular day out

BTM-0083-webLocated just across the road from the ELR’s Bury Station, the 1848 Castlecroft Goods Warehouse was a central hub of cargo transportation, with items passing through and being sent as far as Canada and Japan.

Now the building is home to Bury Transport Museum! Beautifully restored vehicles, hands-on exhibits and personal stories explain the development of transport and people’s lives in the North West, and make the museum a great place for a group visit.

Our selection of private talks and tours offer you and your group a real insight into the history of our impressive collection of vintage vehicles and original artefacts.

What the museum has to offer your group!

Special rates are available for people visiting the museum as part of a large group.

If your group numbers 20 or more people you will be charged £2.30 per person for entry, saving 90p per person.

Remember entry into the museum is completely free if you have a full line return ticket, so enhance your day out with a trip on the train!
