Great Days Out for Groups

“Warm welcome and very helpful staff. Would take all our clients back to their childhood.” Fam trip feedback, March 2012

A trip on our heritage trains make for a perfect group day out. Our 24-mile round trip offers not only stunning views of the Lancashire countryside but six different stops to choose from.

Combine your ride on the East Lancashire Railway with a visit to other top visitor attractions including the famous Bury Market where you can browse the many stalls for some great local fare such Bury Black Pudding, Mr Fitzpatricks in Rawtenstall, UK’s last surviving original temperance bar where Sarsaparilla is still made today, or Helmshore Textile Museum near Irwell Vale.

What we offer you and your group…

“May I take this opportunity to say a very big thank you for a wonderful time we all had on the train journey from Rawtenstall to Bury.  It was a lovely visit and everyone enjoyed themselves.” Johnsons Quality Coach & Bus Travel, October 2012

As one of the most popular visitor attractions in the North West, the East Lancashire Railway is pleased to offer:
