IMG_2701Unique learning experiences that bring subjects to life!

Bury Transport Museum and the East Lancashire Railway offer an exciting range of programmes, some offered in partnership with other local museums, to provide an interesting and memorable educational day trip for schools. These sessions can be tailored to fit the needs and interests of your group.

The dedicated education suite at the museum is accessible by lift and there are lifts to both display platforms. The main museum floor is cobbled. Teachers  are invited to contact the museum to arrange a free pre-visit to assist with planning and risk assessments, and to discuss any access or learning requirements.

To discuss arrangements for your school visit, or to arrange a pre-visit, please call 0161 763 4457 or email transport.museum@east-lancs-rly.co.uk.
