  • Day Out With Thomas

    Calling all little engineers! Join the number one blue engine himself, along with The Fat Controller and all of his friends, for a train ride unlike any other.


    There are lots of things to see and do including:

    • Performances by Sodor’s cheeky station sweepers, Rusty and Dusty

    • Thomas themed activities in the Imagination Station

    The Fat Controller’s opening ceremony takes place at 9:45am each day., Activities finish at 4pm. Tickets cost £19.50 per adult. £12 per child. A family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children cost £55. A family ticket for 2 adults and 3 children costs £65. Under 2s are free.

  • Scotsman on show

    The people’s engine makes a hotly anticipated return to the East Lancashire Railway for a static display! Get up close and personal to the legendary locomotive that once represented the very best of British industry.

    Find out what makes Flying Scotsman so special with an engaging expert led talk, meet the crew and climb into the cab, you can even sit in the driver’s seat and walk through the famous corridor tender!
