  • Halloween Ghost Trains

    Join the East Lancashire Railway’s elite squad of highly trained haunters and attempt to break an evil curse on board our Halloween Ghost Trains. This frightening family adventure includes:

    • A terrifying train ride: Hop aboard the scream powered steam train for a hair-raising ride to Rawtenstall and back.
    • Horrible Heroes: Join the elite monster squad, including Count Brian (the Vampire), Veronica the witch and Zombie Bob.
    • A ghoulish good time: Help the terror team out with their spine chilling chores to break the mystical curse, be warned, things will get spooky.
    • Mystifying magic: Master Magician Jez Mansfield returns to provide eerie evening entertainment.
    • Show off your spooky side: Don’t miss the opportunity to show off your best fancy dress.
    • Terrify your taste buds: Drop by the station Buffet and BBQ for some ghoulishly good grub.
    • Indulge your inner mad scientist: Make something monstrous at Bury Transport Museum’s themed Craft Workshop.

  • Wands at the ready, it’s time to join a wacky cast of witches and wizards for madcap magical mayhem! Brush up on your broomstick riding and practice your potions as you complete your sorcerous schoolwork and rescue an enchanted artefact from a gang of evil warlocks!

    This interactive adventure will see you and your family join quirky costumed characters on a steam train ride, during which you will take part in themed activities and complete the story.
