    Bury at Heart

Yesterday, our home town had some heartbreaking news as our football club, Bury FC, was expelled from the English Football League.

Football has always been important to our community and our team has always been at the heart of our town and our people - we too are devastated.

Today, our railway will be showing support to our club, the players, staff and fans, and our community, with our steam engine for the day proudly displaying a Bury FC headboard.

For those yet to visit, the park is a lovely place – a mixture of open spaces and woodlands, rivers, ponds and a canal. It can be easily reached on one of our trains, with a station stop sited within the park itself.
