Here at the East Lancashire Railway we have a lot of love for our home county, that’s why we are marking the date when Lancashire sent its first representatives to Parliament in style! It’s been 722 years since our officials passed through the doors of the houses of parliament, and to be sure the county has seen more ups and downs that the Pennines in that time, but we have come through it all with our signature wry wit and no nonsense style!
So join us for a celebration of all things Lancastrian this 18 and 19 November. The packed programme of events includes a reading from Town Criers, traditional folk music and dancing and of course generous helpings of traditional Lancashire hot-pot.
We even have a special offer, for every two adult passengers who wear a red rose, one travels free!
