Tornado returns

We’re battening down the hatches here in anticipation of a very special guest in early 2018, legendary locomotive LNER Peppercorn Class A1 60163 “Tornado” is finally returning to the Lancashire from 29 March – 2 April.

The icon will be celebrating her 10th birthday on our line and we intend to make the most of the event, after all Tornado is a celebrity, being Britain’s newest steam engine, having starred in “Top Gear” and “Paddington 2” and being the first engine to reach 100mph in almost 50 years.

Tickets will be available from 1 November 2017. To find out more about this event please click here.
