    Freedom of the Line

    Our best value tickets which include unlimited travel all day and FREE entry to Bury Transport Museum (excludes special events).

      • Family (2 adults & 3 children): £42.00
      • Adult (aged 18 and over): £16.00
      • Concession: £14.50
      • Child (aged 5 - 17): £10.00
      • Under 5s: FREE (except special events)

    Other Fares

    Single and return fares are available between our four main stations - Heywood, Bury, Ramsbottom and Rawtenstall, except on Special Events.

    Return tickets start from: Adult: £9.00, Child: £6.00, Concession: £8.50


    Dogs are allowed to travel on the railway at no extra charge, however must be kept on a lead at all times.

    Resident's Permit

    Great discounts for residents of the boroughs of Bury, Rochdale and Rossendale.

    Freedom of the Line tickets: £10.00

    Full Line Return tickets: Adult: £7.00, Concession/Child: £5.00
