Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Directors Saloon

Whatever the occasion, make your day truly special on board this newly restored vintage saloon. Built back in 1906, every facet of this custom carriage was meticulously designed to allow the directors of the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway to inspect their line in style.

Rare Dominigan mahagony was liberally used inside and the saloon even incorporates a tiled mosaic featuring the red rose of Lancashire and the white rose of Yorkshire. Combined with the etched glass, the beautiful long table and the framed photograph (courtesy of the 1914 winner of the apprentices’ photography club) there is no more luxurious way to travel for you, your family and your friends.
