Gift Shops

No trip to the East Lancashire Railway would be complete without a little visit to one of our two quaint gift shops.

Stop by our main gift shop in the Booking Hall at our Bury Station, or nip into the Cafe Carriage at Rawtenstall for a quick browse. Both are open to railway visitors and passers-by, each with a wonderful selection of unique, memorable gifts.

Souvenirs from the ELR

Pick up a little something to always remember your day out on the East Lancashire Railway. We have lots of wonderful branded gifts and train memorabilia to choose from. Go small with a dinky fridge magnet or a mug fit for dunking, or pick up a fleece or t-shirt to share your love for the ELR. We stock a range of DVDs showcasing our latest events too.

Local area gifts and goodies

If you’re looking to learn more about the area, our shops have a small selection of local history books – including two written by ELR volunteer Andrew Coward. Learn more about the railway in Rossendale or the Metrolink in Bury – and pick up some gifts and memorabilia from the Irwell Valley.

Fun for the kids

We have lots of little train themed (and not-so-train-themed) gifts for your little ones, including Thomas the Tank Engine, Star Wars and Harry Potter themed toys.

Books Galore at the Emporium

Sited within the gift shop at our Bury Bolton Street Station, The Emporium is the one stop spot for railway books, covering the history of steam and diesel trains from their humble beginnings to the present day.

Our Welcome Back special offer

To celebrate our re-opening, stop by our gift shop at Bury Bolton Street Station and get 50% off our sale items. This offer is valid until further notice and is subject to change at any time.
