- New Business Opportunity: A new track training company has partnered with ELR to use the Baron Street Facility for small group training.
- Commercial Services Website Development: Work has commenced on creating a dedicated portal for engineering, testing, vehicle painting and filming services. This project is led by Andy Hardman and Nic Rooney, in collaboration with Creative Spark.
- Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) Visit: ELR hosted a successful visit from HLF representatives, who responded positively to the Locomotive Works project, deeming it viable for mid-level funding. A re-survey of the building is required, and a working group has been formed to advance the application.
- Lancashire and Yorkshire WW1 Memorial Unveiled.
