As a charity, the East Lancashire Railway is dependent on the help and kindness of the community to carry on our mission of preserving this 12-mile stretch of Britain’s heritage. Now we’re looking to partner with businesses and strengthen our regional ties whilst we support the future of our shared past!
We are run by a dedicated team alongside over 800 passionate volunteers who do their part to ensure that we can keep this piece of industrial heritage alive for the next generations. We want everyone to be able to learn about our history and our impact on Bury and the surrounding area.
The following packages don’t just help the railway, they also offer great perks including opportunities to advertise directly to our thousands of visitors, access to exclusive events and discounted and free trips on the ELR.

Supporter on the Sidings
This package is perfect for small businesses and local supporters. With a short-term commitment of only three months, it is our shortest package, despite this it still gives some fantastic benefits to give you a taste of the railway as well as exposure for your companies to our many visitors.

- Access to one poster point at one of our stations.

3-Month Commitment. Total Cost: £600
Heritage Helper
Ideal for larger companies. A 6-month commitment allows you to be more flexible.

This package is designed for larger businesses who wish to get the benefits of being shared to a wider audience as well as enjoying increased access to the railway.

- Guided behind-the-scenes tour for staff.
12-Month Commitment. Total Cost £2,500.
ELR Heritage Partner
This is for businesses looking to make a large investment in the railway. It comes with great benefits to promote your organization as well as giving exclusive access to promotions and events at the railway.
