A pretty little village situated in-between Bury and Ramsbottom, Summerseat is popular with visitors because of its picturesque scenery and pubs.

The Hamers Arms and The Footballers are two traditional inns serving a selection of real, local ales, just a short stroll from the station.

For those that enjoy the great outdoors Summerseat Nature Reserve is located adjacent to the station with beautiful woodland and meadows to explore. A Garden Centre can also be found in the centre of the village selling flowers and home-baked cakes.
