Can you believe summer is here already? The sunshine is slowly coming back, and we’re making the most of it with even more adventures at the East Lancashire Railway. We’ve got a packed season of unforgettable events, special guests, family favourites and heritage rail experiences waiting for you.
We’re kicking things off in style with a true railway legend. Flying Scotsman returns to the ELR, and we’re proud to play a part in the story of this iconic engine. We’ll also be welcoming visiting guest engines at the Summer Diesel Gala!
For the families, everyone’s favourite Little Blue Engine is back for another Day Out with Thomas. The museum will also be playing host to the first-ever K-pop party, alongside the return of your favourite characters on the Wonderland and Wizarding adventure. Goldilocks and her friends will also be joining us for a train ride during the Fairytale adventure, and we can’t forget the villains and dinos! Finally, we’ve got another famous face in the form of Peppa Pig.
